The Grand Maitre 10-inch Chef’s Knife by Victorinox features an ultra-sharp straight-edged blade that is adept at almost any slicing, dicing or chopping task. You will reach for this knife every time you set to work in the kitchen. The curved blade allows for rocking, and the width of the knife from spine to blade keeps your knuckles comfortably above the cutting board as you work. The demi-bolster on this knife allows for uniform sharpening of the entire blade, and also makes this knife exceptionally comfortable when using it with a pinch grip.

This knife has a beautifully balanced, perfectly weighted full tang construction, an intuitively engineered comfortable handle, and a no-stain high polished forged steel blade with an edge that will retain its razor sharpness. The handle is made of Poly Oxy Methylene (POM), which holds its shape and will not crack or separate from the blade. It is triple-riveted and ergonomically rounded to provide optimum weight, balance and comfort.The blade is crafted of high carbon no stain steel, and the bolsterless edge allows for use of the entire blade and ease of sharpening.

This fine cutlery is hot-drop hand forged and ice tempered by master forgers in Solingen, Germany exclusively for Victorinox. It is then shipped to Victorinox in Ibach, Switzerland for application of their famous proprietary sharp edge and rigid quality control finishing.
